neocha.com birthday + kraftwerk ::

:: neocha.com is now 2! We celebrated our two year anniversary last month in Shanghai with 500 of our friends, family, and users at Neocha’s underground studio space. The video below shares some of the party together with a live performance by Sun Ye (孙晔) who was joined by Zhu Baixi (朱百喜), the lead singer and guitarist for (十四行诗), for a roaring cover of Kraftwerk’s “The Model.” Thanks again to our sponsors Vedett and Let’s Tee.  // AjS

neocha.com is 2 years old ::

:: happy 2nd birthday to Neocha.com. Join us to celebrate on January 17th at the Neocha office / basement warehouse (Changshu Lu, lane 100, building 10, basement of the Bao Li building, inside the Shanghai Opera Institute). There will be “ghetto” mini Olympics (ping ping, billiards, Chinese chess), free Belgium beer (courtesy of Vedett), acoustic and electronic music performances, local indie design / creative arts / film exhibitions, and a Let’s Tee fashion show.
